Where Good Girls Go to Die

By Holly Renee

Livy moved away and carved out a life for herself after a boy ruined her life. It might not be ideal staying away from her family but she wouldn’t let herself be hurt again… until a little piece of home shows up and won’t be denied. What will happen when she’s forced to confront her past? Let’s find out.

Read if you like: fast paced contemporary romance, SPICE, great banter, childhood friends to lovers, second chance romance, small town, great side characters who get their own books, it was always you, and main characters who have to work through their hurt to so they can love again.

Parker was always in Livy’s life… he’s her brother’s best friend after all. And there’s no way Livy could ever get Parker to notice her, right? When a chance at love goes horribly wrong Livy leaves town to try and save her heart some extra damage, but she’s not the only one in pieces. When four years later Parker and Livy are unexpectedly reunited it is obvious that the distance did nothing to cool the flames of their feelings. Parker might have ruined the good girl next door… but Livy hasn’t been a good girl in a long time and there’s no way she’d fall for him again.

This book was great. It’s short but hits all the right notes. Where Good Girls Go to Die is a hidden gem. You get a lot of great tropes and character development in a book that can be devoured in a few hours. I know the miscommunication trope is pretty big. But we have an 18 and a 19-year-old making snap decisions and then feeling like they can’t go back on them… hello realism. And yes, it’s been 4 years, but time does not heal all wounds… especially if you keep digging into your bad choices. You also get hilarious friends that help build all the delicious tension between our main characters… like they need any help. I thought the character development was great and we get to see them work through the past and see what happens. And the spice… it’s good spice. I need to read it again with a thermometer because my face was hot. Frequently.

So, if you need a quick, spicy, and fantastic read that will have you laughing and tugging your heartstrings, do not pass up Where Good Girls Go to Dieonward to the friend books!
