Riley Thorn is perfectly normal. All those visions and messages she receives… just hallucinations. There’s absolutely no way she has any psychic abilities like the rest of the women in her family. Nope. So, what happens when she gets undeniable proof of her abilities and a handsome private investigator shows up at her door? Let’s find out!
Read if you like: contemporary romance, rom-com, narrative dual POV, psychics, detectives/ P.I., mystery, hilarious banter, good girl/bad boy, only her, a little spice, hilarious side characters, swoony alpha guys, spunky and sweet leading ladies.
Riley’s life is a literal wreck. She had to completely start over after a messy divorce. Her new plan? Just be normal. But her neighbors, and her psychic abilities, aren’t really conducive to that plan. When things are feeling pretty hopeless an incredibly hot stranger is knocking at her front door, looking for her neighbor.
Nick Santiago plays by his own rules. He left the police force and opened a private investigation agency. Life is good. No partner. No girlfriend. No one to answer to. But when he meets Riley on a case, he keeps finding reasons to use her intuition. But that’s only because she needs his help… right?
He’s helpful like that.
I absolutely adore these books. Lucy Score wowed me again with wonderful and layered main characters who feel real on the page, a dynamic setting with a full cast of characters you want to remember, and romance that makes you laugh, swoon, and shake your head as they work their way through cases fraught with murder, mystery, and cabbage casseroles. Our main characters are relatable 30-somethings and have friends and families that are completely off-the-wall and keep the antics coming page after page.
Riley Thorn is my new ride or die. Keep them coming, Lucy Score!
